Greek Yoghurt and Passion Fruit

I’ve had a rather indulgent weekend celebrating my birthday with lots of delicious food, so this week I need to redress the balance with some extra fruit, veggies, broths and fish. There really aren’t good and bad foods, simply balance. One of my top 3 fruits is passion fruit. I love how tart and textural it is and it’s packed full of antioxidants and fibre. Antioxidants keep cells protected from diabetes, heart disease and cancer. This simple breakfast tastes delicious, boosts my body’s efficiency and wakes me up.

INGREDIENTS
Makes 1 Serving
80g Greek yoghurt
1 passion fruit
2 tsp maple syrup
optional extra: 1 tsp flax seed

  • Put the yogurt into a small bowl. Slice the passion fruit in half then use a teaspoon to scoop out the fruit onto the yoghurt.
  • Drizzle over the maple syrup. If using, sprinkle over the flax seed.
